I’m in love with this little cart. After spending over 40 years helping NaNa every summer and holiday, I wondered why she never had something to help her carry everything so she didn’t have to make a thousand trips. My mom said that even my granddad offered to buy her a cart when they first moved here, but she just never wanted one. So this is the newest piece of low-tech equipment that we are adding to the place. And one day, the retreat rooms will be chemical free! Every time I go to clean these rooms with traditional cleaner, I am reminded why I use Thieves cleaner on everything at home. That will be a part of what we will eventually offer as a more natural option. As everyone knows, we have short-term and long-term plans for this place. Eventually I want it to be a place of retreat from life, to reflect and reconnect with God. To be a place of healing and to reclaim what he has for your life. Eek... I get so excited when I can realize how this place will continue do His work, short-term and long-term.
